MACRO + THE CONSERVATORY

my school photography class went on a macro shoot at the conservatory. got my hands on some loooovely macro lenses from school and just swooned over the oodles of succulents, cacti and countless other plants of the sort. (how lucky they had that theme going while i was there!) plant. heaven.

PROPAGATING SUCCULENTS

i'm gonna be a mama! plant mama, that is. using this thorough tutorial i have started making tons of new plant babies. fingers cross they all grow well, i'll post updates if they turn out alright!

yes, yes i do have a slight obsession with house plants. specifically cacti and succulents.

Terrarium Love

I really love terrariums and succulents. 

I was telling my mother about this love and she told me we had a hidden small succulent plant growing in the backyard. So I grabbed a shovel, some dirt and a pot, and set to work.

I found it meek and withered, a small plant just trying to stay alive. I took him in as my own.

So now I have my own succulent. Once it grows and flourishes I will proudly display it in it's very own 

terrarium. So until then, I swoon over these lush mini paradises. 

ps. i am back from minneapolis with some good shopping finds to prove it!
