early november, on the red river
this is how these photos came to be.
someone posted a real-time photo on instagram of the sky...and i knew exactly what i had to do.
i got up off the couch, pulled my rubber boots on, grabbed the car keys and my camera - and ran.
i ended up at the river and explored and got boot-deep in mud and watched the sunset until i was cold and so so satisfied.

WINNIPEG FOLK FESTIVAL ON FILM

some (mostly rainy) folk fest moments captured.
listening to the bros. landreth from the shelter of the big shady oak, parking our butts wherever we could lay down a blanket, walking barefoot through fields and mud, admiring art in the woods, and my favourite: sitting reachable distance from boy & bear as they sang their sweet sounds. just a couple whisps of a wonderful 5 days.
