this time it's not only love, but sweet sweet engagement too. 

(throwback to love post 1 and 2 of them!)

on two occasions we braved the winnipeg cold to attempt to get some shots, 

both of which were snotty and hilarious- but we ended up with these photos so i'd say it was worth it.

my love for these two is HUGE but their love for each other is bigger. 

i'm lucky to call this girl my sister and best friend, and this guy my new brother from day one. 

also, i can't wait to stand next to her on the big day! i love love.

my time there was full of film photography, long shadows casted on snow, cups of coffee from Café Postal x Thom Bargen, the hearty singing of the Riel Men's Choir, warm hands from sitting around fires and beautiful winter skies. Besides my numb toes- yes, it really was that lovely.
