here we have photos from my time in philly! as you can see from the photos...we were captured by the mosaics found all over South Street and the area. 

then... we heard about 'philly's magic gardens' and knew we had to be there. 
we spent most of the rest of the day wandering around the gardens, taking in the beauty and marveling at every intricate detail. that place is really quite magical. 

but other than that... in philadelphia we shopped, ate (water ice at Rita's and philly cheese-steaks at Jim's, of course) and had a wonderful time.

Oh hello! My, has it been longer than I had hoped! Summer life is crazy and amazing, but I am home and lazy now these days. So just you wait- I will give all the traveling photos and deets soon. :)

On a rainy day last month me and my fabulously creative friend went on an adventure which included thrifting (duh), bubble tea, getting rained on, and exploring the beautiful conservatory, pictured above. 
So shoutout to my girl Kristen (the blondie) for snapping these of me, and all the rest I took.

Hello! These are from May, when everything was still blooming and leaves from the fall hadn't quite disappeared yet. Me and Madi had a picnic in the park consisting of chocolate cake and milk. We try.
Aaaaand: my bike! This babe is my companion in the summer! She's a 1960's Glider, made in England. She doesn't really have a set name yet...we call her many things. "Paisley", "Thelma", "Doris"...just to name a few. Whatever rolls of the tongue that day.

Just *three* days till I leave on my trip...! Hopefully I can get a few more posts in before then.

why hello! how time flies, it's june already!
i just finished the school musical i was in, so now i have all this free time all of a sudden! that is...until exams start next week, hah! life is grand though, i am pretty pumped for stuff i have planned for the summer...well really i'm just pretty excited for life right now :)

my sister, my mama and i had a girls day starting with breakfast at the Park Cafe in Assiniboine Park, and afterwards we of course had to mosy around through the beautiful garden. i just love how all the flowers are blooming...biking and walking is now the most wonderful experience with all the flower fragrances floating about.

Sometimes I get overwhelmed by the beauty I see all around me. That's really a huge part of why I have the passion for photography that I do, I want to capture this beauty, hold on to it. I am a very sentimental person, I never want to forget what moves me so deeply. 
It fills me so much to photograph these things. To see beauty in everything- where it's obvious, but especially where it's hidden. Because I believe there's beauty in everything, and to capture it with my camera is like nothing else. 

Well there you have my thoughts right now!
These are my babe friends Madi, Madi and Laura, by the way! (Yep, two Madi's...we call them Madi Squared) And thanks to them for also snapping some of me on our little adventure! We found a set of those fire escape stairs that was accessible all the way to the top of a building! I was super pumped. Fo sho going back there.
